The protection of women and children is a priority and passion of mine. This is a safe community that promotes self-care and healthy lifestyles for our households. There may be situations where someone within this community or someone you know isn’t living in a safe environment. Please use these contact references or search for a different one, if preferred. No situation that is unsafe for us or for our children is tolerable, even temporarily. There are a number of resources and organizations that will support you and your family through any transition. The National Domestic Violence Hotline “We answer the call to support and shift power back to people affected by relationship abuse.”

 

Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration “SAMHSA’s National Helpline is a free, confidential, 24/7, 365-day-a-year treatment referral and information service (in English and Spanish) for individuals and families facing mental and/or substance use disorders.”

 

The Mama Bear Effect seeks to empower adults to actively protect children from sexual abuse by raising awareness, and promoting conversations and behaviors that can prevent abuse.” They have a fantastic list of resources for a variety of situations. This is a very caring group.
